Dr. Siddharth Singh, MD, MS is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, with an adjunct appointment in the Division of Biomedical Informatics at UCSD. His clinical focus is on inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). His research interests are focused on informing the comparative effectiveness and safety of treatment and monitoring strategies in patients with IBD, to personalize treatment approach based on patients’ risk attributes, and facilitate population health management. In addition, Dr. Singh is actively engaged in clinical practice guideline development using GRADE methodology, and efficient and effective ways for dissemination and implementation, with the American Gastroenterological Association. Dr. Singh’s research is funded through the NIH, AGA, ACG and others. He also serves as an Associate Editor for AGA’s clinical practice journal, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
